The RAGDOLL is a man made breed that first appeared in early to mid 1960. The RAGDOLL is a large cat. Altered males are generally in the 20+ pound range. Females tend to be about 5 to 7 pounds lighter, and possess a smaller frame. RAGDOLLS are very loving, devoted, docile cats that have a wonderful temperament. The RAGDOLL has the ability to totally relax into a limp state in your arms. They were named after the child's RAGDOLL toy.
